The resistant dextrin is a low-calorie dextran which is processed from starch, it’s methanated by starch saccharification and a low molecular weight water-soluble dietary fiber. In addition to the α-1, 4 and α-1,6 glucosides originally possessed by starch, it also possesses α-1, 2 and α-1,3-linked glucosides, which are difficult to digest structures of human body. The resistant dextrin is a natural small molecule water-soluble dietary fiber obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis, fibrosis, purification and drying using corn starch as raw material. It is a white to pale yellow powder, a colorless or light yellow liquid containing a large amount of starch crosslinks and will not be hydrolyzed by human digestive enzymes.

 Performance     Low viscosity – the viscosity of the  aqueous solution is very low, and  the change in viscosity value with the shear rate and temperature changes is small.
Wetting – can act as a wetting agent to prevent or slow down the undesirable changes in wet foods, so that the food is neither dehydrated nor hydrated.
Water-soluble – has good water solubility and can prepare aqueous solutions with concentrations up to 80%. It is insoluble in ethanol but partially soluble in glycerin.
Stability –25℃, 45℃and 60℃ conditions, can be stably stored in the open environment for more than 90 days, the shelf life can be up to 2 years in a closed environment.
Meltability – The amorphous powder melts at temperatures above130℃ and cools to form a clear, glassy material with a brittle structure similar to that of hard candy.
